The company was founded when Kurt Schweiger, a North Hills native returned from California. He adapted and joined California's progressive home concepts, technologies and energy efficiencies, with his brother, Kevin Schweigers' extensive custom home building experience.
Kevin's love for detailed architectural elements, as well as his meticulous attention and oversight of the building project, has earned him a long list of satisfied clients throughout Western Pennsyvania. Kevin has been building homes in Lake MacLeod, Langdon Farms, Barrington Manor, Sturbridge Village, Greenbrier, The Seasons, as well as homes in Sewickley, Fox Chapel and Cranberry, for almost 30 years. Kevin's personal signature is left on every home because he is ON THE JOB, not in the office. The Company name was changed to Schweiger Family Homes when Kevin’s son Adam joined the business as well.
